Panufnik: a Centenary Celebration

On 30 November at Kings Place, the Brodsky Quartet will present chamber works spanning the life of Panufnik – from his Piano Trio (1934), reconstructed after the war, to his three string quartets (written between 1976 and 1990). The programme will include complementary pieces by his daughter, Roxanna, among which the London premiere of a new work specially written for the Brodsky Quartet: Memories of My Father.

You can find all these pieces, performed by the Brodsky Quartet as well, on a new November release from Chandos: Messages (CHAN 10839). It is the Disc of the Month at The Classical Shop!
